Quiet and panoramic

It’s geographic position and favourable climate makes this a surprisingly good place to be in every season. Lots of snow in winter and warm weather in summer.

Das kleine Paradies in Jadersdorf is in a very quiet spot on a lot of land (1 ha.). Nice view from a sunny garden. At dawn and sunset you may see some deer wander about on our land.

Hermagor is a nice village at 4.4 km with all shopping you need and great coffee houses (“Konditorei”) for good coffee and cakes. There is the Tourist Office as well. Whether you are fond of hiking or more keen on shopping, museums, swimming pools or festivals, Carinthia has a lot to offer. There is plenty to do year round, such as fly fishing, carting, rafting, visiting caves, enjoying spa resorts or amusement parks. WarmbadVillach is a Roman thermal bath, thanks to its natural healing springs.

Villages from another era

Higher up mountain you find villages virtually untouched and quiet. Down at the lakes it gets more populated and more alive in summer. Getting around by car you will find castles, some of which medieval. Klagenfurt is the capital with some historic houses and monuments. The Klagenfurt area has been populated as early as the Roman time and there are some remaining sites.

Nature

Nochberge National Park is known for its round summits. Beautiful area for hiking in very green mountains offset by blue lakes and red flowers (in spring). Carinthia has some large lakes.
